Brief History
FUNDICIÓN CALLAO S.A. was founded on August 16, 1936, initiating the steel foundry industry in Peru, by the Marsano Vera brothers.
Since the founding of FUNDICION CALLAO S.A. through to the year 2015, Dante Marsano Vera (1915-2016) was the company’s general manager. His position allowed him to become a contributing member of the industrial development of Peru. He was a founding member of two prestigious educational entities: SENATI in 1960 and Ricardo Palma University in 1969, thus furthering the educational development of the country.
His sons, Dante Renso, Jose Rodolfo and Luis Alberto Marsano Bacigalupo continue to follow his example and teachings by assuming top management positions at the company; with Mr. Luis Alberto Marsano Bacigalupo currently undertaking the role of General Manager.
With over 80 years of experience, we have added value to our customers, suppliers and community.
